Meal distribution systems

Patient catering is an essential factor in connection with the management of hospitals and clinics. ascobloc offers here a complete program of devices for logical meal distribution. In the so-called classic food distribution, the meals prepared in-house are portioned on a conveyor belt and then distributed to the wards by means of insulated transport trolleys. If a central kitchen (caterer) supplies several hospitals, this is done using the "cook & chill" method, which in turn requires special technology. ascobloc offers solutions for both systems.


Dispenser and distribution trolleys

Dispensers and distribution trolleys of this type have been in use in the largest and most modern hospitals and nursing homes for many years. Mature technology based on longstanding experience creates confidence and satisfaction!

  • Large cleaning opening: For internal cleaning.
  • A removable cap protects the dishes against unwanted ingress of splashing water and dirt.
  • Robust plug holder: ensures secure seating and impact protection for the electrical component.
  • Plastic cover: provides secure seating and impact protection for the electrical component.
  • Solid impact protection: elastic and abrasion-resistant, easy to replace.
  • Wheels: corrosion resistant and abrasion resistant, low rolling resistance due to ball bearings, easy to replace, two of four swivel castors lockable with a large pedal.
  • Tension springs: corrosion-protected and heat-resistant.
  • The springs can be exchanged or easily adapted to the weight of the dishes by changing the number of springs.
  • Guide rods: allow variable adjustment of the guide to different dish sizes.

Model TEW

  • Body: closed, smooth-surfaced trolley body, completely made of matt-finished CNS, high stability due to box profiles in the trolley corners, good torsional stiffness due to edge reinforcement in the doors
  • Interior: smooth, hygienic interior surfaces with deep-drawn, i.e. seamlessly formed supports with a height grid of 115 mm, storage capacity for up to 40 Euronorm trays
  • Doors: two reinforced hinged doors, double-walled and foamed, attached with high-quality stainless steel hinges, opening up to 270°, convenient opening by means of integrated foot pedals, self-locking in open and closed position
